Why don't Spurs and Arsenal put another tier on the Emirates and ground share ?

I mean just think about it for a minute, The Manc clubs are going to get further away from us and Chelski have a bottomless pit.

If we had a 75k stadium we would both fill it every week and the advertising would pour in

Its not that crazy and Italian clubs have shared for years. A flick of a switch can electronically personalise the ground each Saturday

Spurs would need 30mil to develop Emirates instead of 300mil for a new stadium

Believable1 Unbelievable2

There was talk of that in the 80s at alexander palace

Agree0 Disagree0

In theory it makes sense, but it would never happen, and for good reason. It's a different culture over here, and in reality would never work

Agree1 Disagree0

Of course WHL is too small but & 75k you really need to get real.

Agree2 Disagree1

The e*****s stadium (sorry, but I can't bring myself to say it) is their stadium. If we went there to ground share, we would always feel like the tenant and I'm sure that their fans would remind us of it at every opportunity.

No thanks.

We will have our new stadium soon. It will be just as good as theirs if not better as our new home will have an entertaining team on it every other weekend and it will also have a cracking atmosphere!

No way is Arsenal going to build a 60,000 all seater stadium on the ridiculous loan the board tok out then let spurs add 15000 seats for 30 million and let them get half the profits while Arsenal pay off te other 60,000 seats over the next 15 years! Get Real

Agree1 Disagree0

Im a gooner, i agree with the above it just wouldn't work we all want our own stadium to be proud of. As for making it 75 thousand seater that will never happen, we could only go to 60 thousand because of the dense area the stadiums in and the risks that go with it, u think for 30 mil more we wouldn't have made it 75 if we were aloud

Agree0 Disagree0

Spurs used to let arsenal play their home games at our ground a long time ago, just after the war i think. But i dnt think it can happen nowadays.

Naz

Agree0 Disagree0

Naz, arsenal even put 2 blue stripes on their badge in homage to us

The only reason that Lyon are letting Lloris leave is that the last few months of last season he made a lot of mistakes and lost his confidence. He is no longer as reliable as he used to be.

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Sounds like jealousy from a bitter rival posting this! COYS

Agree1 Disagree1

He is 25 years old FFS. He is already one if the best in the world. He can only get better.

If Modric goes to Madrid for £35m, we must get Moutinho as his replacement for £25m, as it looks like Chelsea going to sign our other target Oscar. Pocket a tidy £10m to put towards Hugo Lloris coming to the club.

About us signing damio, haven't we been trying for years and he's still not come, why don't we focus our attention on someone else who we have a chance of getting? personally i think sturridge would be a great signing, he played in the front 3 for cheslea under AVB and he got goals, i think it'd be a quality signing, any thoughts or info about this?

benny b

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Damiao has openly said many times that the offer from us is the only one on the table and until something else comes in he will concentrate on playing for inter.

Sounds to me like he is not interested in coming to us. I know he is a very talented player, but with an attitude like that towards our beloved club, the question is would we really want a mercenary at our club? Will we sell our sole for a few goals by someone so obviously only using us as a stepping stone? Arent we passed this by now?

Answers on a postcard please.
