has anyone got any solid transfer news, I am dissapointed as was led to believe we would do our buisness early. unless our buisness is done and we are not getting anyone.

Can Levy work his magic and find another hidden diamond teenage winger in the French third division? As fans all we can ask is that the club give four yachts a positive balance sheet each year and that we have the highest paid chairman in the Prem for the fifteenth year running. Get them two boxes ticked and the rest doesn't matter, Poundland Fc have justified their existence.

2.) 14 Jul 2018 12:33:05
Bewildering that there isn't anything concrete as yet.

3.) 15 Jul 2018 09:29:08
I think spurs are linked with Wilmar Barrios and probably will try to sign Grealish. Surprised about the lack of names being mentioned.

Tbh Levy does his business fairly late every year. It will be interesting. Good luck anyway lads.

what has happened to the young argentinian lad reports claim deal is dead, will spurs sign anyone, please someone give me some good news, anything I am getting increasingly frustrated.

Steve I've given up weeks ago with spurs, I haven't renewed my season ticket and refused to buy any of the new crap nike stuff, I'm sick of pumping my money into the club to see our best players waving off every other year and us being linked with utter rubbish every summer. I feel like letting a lot of steam lately and I might start following millwall football club.

2.) 16 Jul 2017 00:23:43
Raver the last sentence is worth poster of the year alone. Very good.

3.) 16 Jul 2017 11:51:50
Raver, I feel your pain.
Best players moving to Spain, again and again.
Like I said, no big signings this summer but at least Dele And Mr Kane are staying. Real interest from Real for Dele but he ain't ready to give up here yet. Besides, he knows he ain't a starter for dem.

Got to ride the summer out.

4.) 16 Jul 2017 11:51:50
Raver, you were always bragging you have the best young players in the league, and fantastic youth players coming through so why are you bothered about not signing anyone or are you now saying you were talking rubbish lol.

5.) 16 Jul 2017 12:01:31
Raver a true fan would never write that type on nonsense. I actually enjoy your posts and normally agree wth most things you write, but please retract your emotional breakdown!

Many true fans remember the days when Spurs were a consistent mid table club, and there were a few years in between when we were mathematically in the relegation zone. In the early 90s we finished 15th twice in three years and were on the brink of disaster. This period followed the FA Cup win in 1990/ 91 which came after another 10 years of mid table mediocrity.

We are building the best stadium in the league, have the most promising squad without a doubt, and run a tight financial ship. The last 10 years have seen Spurs consolidate top 6 to now looking like a worthy top 4 contender. When you consider many of the others are running their clubs unprofitably this is a significant achievement by any measure.

The truth is Joe Lewis is not an Abramovich, Sheikh Mansour or even Glazer. He doesn't pump in £300m into new player acquisitions from his personal fortunes. It would be nice if financial fair play actually worked, because we would have been champions at least 3 times in the last decade if it did. The sad reality is we run a tight ship, and our ability to compete is hindered by others cheating.

Imagine if we had the same dynamic but offered players £300K per week from the billionaires petty cash injection. Suarez, Hazard, Aguero and William were all acquired by this method.

I completely agree it is bloody frustrating to see this continued underinvestment in our players when we are so close to winning something. I completely agree we have been loyal fans and should have some glory to share by now. However be patient because business people tend to have business minds, and I sense Lewis and ENIC are completing the final piece of the jigsaw before selling out.

When we finally sell which I believe will be at the end of this season, we will have a new stadium, amazing team of talented youth and some world class players like Lloris, Alderweireld, Dele and Kane. Then we will see the aggression to go and buy big and bring in some superstars to compliment this setup. A time when Spurs will start being serious about winning things. If you offered £190m for Sanchez and had unlimited funds to pay him £300K a week, what damage would this do to Arsenal? It is those special players that we need to attract and that is impossible until we have a different owner mindset!

6.) 16 Jul 2017 12:52:24
What a joke of a statement! Raver!
Give the club some time! We need to ship out before we can add!
All our big players are staying!, yes we have lost walker but for 50Mil + good business for a guy who is hit and miss!

7.) 16 Jul 2017 14:14:44
I don't agre with most things that the oracle writes but (sadly) he's right! I think with the lsck of investment, Wembley pitch and a thin squad (+ potential injuries) we will be lucky to finish 6th. Almost certainly no cup or CL football for the first year in our new stadium. The only positive is that we are likely (either by transfer dealings or club sale) to be debt free relatively quickly, then hopefully we can become a force.
I doubt (for most of us 50 somethings) we will see success in the next 10 years!
Sadly Nobby.

{Ed025's Note - at least your being positive nobby.. :)

8.) 16 Jul 2017 15:01:02
Great post Oracle. Jamiek, exactly, we are now selling players to create space in the squad for new players.

9.) 16 Jul 2017 15:06:12
Oracle, if financial fair play worked you think you would of won the league 3 times in the last decade? What a joke of a statement, arsenal would of won it 10 times then under that analogy!

10.) 16 Jul 2017 18:17:18
I've never heard a gooner blaming FFPR'S before on their failings.

11.) 16 Jul 2017 18:20:18
Spot on Oracle.

12.) 17 Jul 2017 17:01:16
Ellis mentioned Arsenal once again lol.

13.) 17 Jul 2017 20:28:02
Dear Amoeba brain, you are on a spurs site talking (or trying to) about spurs! You are so deluded its beyond words.

yet another transfer window will come and go without any new players coming in and I say this with a day and a half left such is my confidence that tottenham will buy no one. out of 2 cups in 4 days and I will say no chance of any progress in the champions league and no hope of winning the premier league what will it take for our club to wake up. we need to invest in quality players to progress aka liverpool a couple of fantastic buys and they are flying we need to bite the bullet and take a chance or we will forever be in a project that rewards us with nothing.

1.) 30 Jan 2019 15:54:09
Poch saying spurs are a victim of their own success. LMAO, please explain what success he is talking about. The only success he has had is spurs finishing above Arsenal for the first time in 21 years 😂😂😂

2.) 31 Jan 2019 19:44:50
I will admit wodbod he's been talking crap lately, bigger than Madrid, success, cups are nothing to brag about etc.

28 Jan 2019 19:02:18
how long can we continue to say this is a project at tottenham when we win nothing. top four is important but surley as fans we want more. I am sick of hearing we are a young squad that will only get better. how can we as a team improve when we fail to invest in some quality players. for me at least 6 or 7 players are not good enough i. e lamela, dier, tripper, lorente, skipp is out of his depth, surely levy and poch can see that with 3 players that are world class out we have no strengh in depth for players to come in and take their place. as I have said before on here we were led to believe that money for new signings was not affected by the new stadium. something is wrong at tottenham is it levy or poch as I read an article from harry redknapp saying players are being suggested to poch but he is not interested, something has got to change and soon.

1.) 28 Jan 2019 21:37:09
Fantastic post Steve and I fully agree with you, the report is he has been offered players but likes a small squad which I find strange. His comments today about winning cups was outrageous that they are something to brag about. too right they are, whenever the raver is taking 2 Milfs home for a night of passion. i'm definitely bragging about it and poch should take note of the raver.

06 Jun 2018 13:06:49
tottenham were supposed to be getting transfer buisness done early this year so what is happening, nothing so far I am expecting some big deals, anyone with any new info?

stevieboy

1.) 06 Jun 2018 18:22:16
Don’t worry Steve, levy and poch have said they will get top players in early ready for the new stadium and we are in for jack grealish, martial and Shaqiri hardly world class players ready to take us to the next level to win things and we are selling Alderweireld, Dembele and Eriksen wants Barcelona move so we will be weaker.

2.) 06 Jun 2018 18:40:41
They will be hard at work SB, the usual merry go round begins.

Looks like Toby is off so we need another CB, unless Dier or CCV will be used. read lately that Poch sees Dier as a CB long term.

There are question marks over Rose, Dembele and Vorm leaving.

Personally would like to see; Llorente, Janssen, Nkoudou moved on.

Rose hasn't been at it this season since his injury. Zaha, Martial and a creative player are a must. before we replace the fringe players.

08 May 2018 19:38:49
does anyone think we will not finish in the top four, I think we will finish third. what sort of money will be in place for transfers? and what do we need to compete next season. also I miss the raver his comments always use to provoke a reaction good or bad loved his comments, come back raver we all miss you.

stevieboy

1.) 09 May 2018 08:54:24
I think Spurs will finish outside the top 4, not much money will be available for transfers other than what is generated through sales and I doubt Spurs will be competing for anything serious next season.

2.) 09 May 2018 12:11:35
SB the next 2 games will prove one way or another if our squad has guts. the pressure is right on after the WBA defeat.

3.) 09 may 2018 11:12:24
forever the optimist. come on guys, get behind our team. turn up with that attitude tonight and the players will feel it.

we need to get behind them and be the 12th player. make it count.

2 home games.

16 Dec 2017 20:40:24
what a shambles today, ali is woeful something not right think he has had his head turned. tripper is a joke of a right back, dembele is finished and dier is no central defender. ericksen where are you in big games and finally and I don't care what you all say harry winks is no better than caroll or mason or benteleb that have all been shown the door at tottenham.

keep dreaming, no rabbit out of the hat this season, think mr levy has made his stance on incoming players quite clear, we need fresh blood to push on for the season coming we can't afford to stagnate. all the top sides have invested in quality players, and while I think we have the strongest starting 11 in the prem it is strength in depth that will carry teams to a title or a final. I have said it before on here our bench is weakish compared to other sides and we don't have players that can come on and change a game.

what was the point in appointing paul mitchell as chief scout when we don't want to sign any of his players that he may have suggested, if we sign anyone now we will be playing catch up as new players need time to bed in.

another weak performance, lemela, tripper, davis, winks were shocking. I said before I don't get the hype over winks think he is so overrated. lloris is not good enough he makes so many errors. and ed0333 yes I don't think poch has the balls to rip into these players he is also weak and watches a diffrent game to me.

stevieboy

{Ed0333's Note - for me the only thing in his favor was his lack of spend this season. If he’d been given funds maybe it would be different?
