As anyone else noticed that we always hit the ground running at the start of the season, then the hard training sessions kick in we loose a little focus . Get a few bad results

Then before Christmas we seem to sort our self's out and gain momentum and a second wind .

Similar to last season, we have after Southampton a few big season defining games, we took maximum points last season in similiar run of fixtures.

Spurs seem to have got a second wind they seem fitter and look as they are growing in confidence with a togetherness and team spirit fighting for each other .

Just at the right time and a few returning from injury .

Seems similiar to last season hope we kick on get Steele resilient and unstoppable .

We have noticed the facts you quoted, but unlike last year we fortunately have the Champions League and FA Cup to contend with.

The problem is this creates a need for a deeper squad which we are sadly missing. It looks like Sessegnon is up from grads if we strike. Alfie Mawson is easy to buy yet lowly Watford seem ahead of us in the queue. Mousa Dembele looks to be Brighton bound from Celtic, surely a talent we should be signing and letting Llorente go.

Lucas Moura looks set for Manchester United over Spurs. Zaha has made it clear he is staying at Crystal Palace. Barkley has gone to Chelsea and it looks quiet as Aubameyang seems Arsenal bound.

We really need to strike when there are clear talents we need to push on all these fronts. Mousa Dembele, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Ryan Sessegnon and Alfie Mawson would have given us the squad to challenge 3 fronts.

We have the cash and could flog Janssen and a couple of peripheral players like Onomah.

2.) 15 Jan 2018 19:56:16
i agree we need a couple of outstanding players as we are fragile in certain areas . irony would be transfer window shuts and kane gets an injury , llorette = season over.

05 Jan 2018 23:27:20
Tosun the Turkish lad looks good who has gone to Everton.

We never buy in January so forget it and all the malarkey and hype from the pundits .

We need a striker and a midfielder zaha or mahrez or Richarlson .

One out of three, the striker maybe Moussa dembelle or Malcom.

Sanchez was a steal so something similar for a striker because if kane gets injured we are done for .

And all levy and mopo will hear is we told you so .

If ever levy had to pull a rabbit out of a hat its this transfer window,

Or moving into a new stadium without kane Ali Erickson and others by not making top four will not sell season tickets . Nice wad in bank but no bums on seats .

You know what's coming will he back or stack and cash in

Levy conundrum.

26 Jul 2017 21:33:22
I wonder if Mr Levy is playing a blinder and were not giving him credit, rather than go out all guns blazing he is waiting patiently to nail 1) sessengnon, Moussa dembelle, ironically he's injured for tonight's champions league qualifier . Also Barkley maybe Zaha . The first three would be okay, and gibson from Middlesbrough .

I dreaming of that rabbit out of the hat levy occasional pulls off like I say just wonder .

1.) 27 Jul 2017 10:10:04
keep dreaming, no rabbit out of the hat this season, think mr levy has made his stance on incoming players quite clear, we need fresh blood to push on for the season coming we can't afford to stagnate. all the top sides have invested in quality players, and while I think we have the strongest starting 11 in the prem it is strength in depth that will carry teams to a title or a final. I have said it before on here our bench is weakish compared to other sides and we don't have players that can come on and change a game.

22 Sep 2015 19:18:23
I have had my moans and knocked things but, hats off to Mr levy mopo and the team right down to the tea lady and the groundsman. something is happening at the lane there is a great team spirit which you can see in there faces.

we have a boss who is the boss and all buy in to his way, the poison has gone the youth are being guided and given a chance, the defense looks better and the attack looks great the youth are shinning Ali mostly but others are coming along, let's back the team, the youth and see where it takes us.

spurs are on a journey that for the first time in my life you can see that winning mentality in their faces either for their place or for the team, there playing for each other I think this is a new era at the spurs time to get on board there will be a few downs, but there's going to be a lot of ups, spurs fans don't know it yet but I think we have entered the next level. C.O.Y.S

10 Aug 2015 19:56:21
Was really happy about things until family member living in north London stated he heard a whisper, Kane and lloris to man united, really suspicious, there's no smoke without fire, if levy does do it, for money and that's all it will be, it sends the wrong message and kills our season in one month, but does the books a world of good hope its rumour and gossip but I think I is very possible, we might have new manager next month don't trust levy .living on knife edge now till transfer window closes, to be or not to be this is the question that occupys a spurs fans mind at the moment .

1.) 10 Aug 2015 22:15:16
Kane is going nowhere so don't lose any sleep over it! If Utd want Lloris then they will get him but it will be for top doller but he clearly fancies it so Au revoir as far as I'm concerned. Can't wait for Saturday, 5 more sleeps! COYS

2.) 11 Aug 2015 02:20:48
LLoris only goes to Manu if De Gea goes to Madrid, which is looking a little less likely than a week ago . but the risk then is PSG steps in with a big offer.

3.) 11 Aug 2015 10:36:07
This is just a really pathetic Man U or Arse fan with their best attempt at trolling. Enjoy your very mediocre season!

4.) 11 Aug 2015 20:15:49
Kane going nowhere I hope your right STID , if lloriss can go for top dollar one would assume so will Kane , no strenuious denial from either party
Remember berbatov Carrick , when window shuts we will know , until then we're all mushrooms in the dark and fed media hype .

5.) 11 Aug 2015 20:55:55
Bobbybox the difference is lloris clearly fancies it and every indication from Harry is he is happy at Spurs! Every top player we have sold has wanted to go. berba carrick bale modric so hand has been forced which I honestly don't think will happen this summer with Harry.

I am absolutely certain we will be singing "he's one our own" all season my friend :)

6.) 12 Aug 2015 00:51:58
"there's no smoke without fire"

Bobby, you're going to kill yourself with stress if you think this is true about football transfer rumours.

7.) 12 Aug 2015 08:26:46
The problem STID is that levy is a business man first. So if the right offer comes in, he WILL sell!

8.) 12 Aug 2015 10:59:30
I disagree and am relaxed about the intrest in Kane from utd, he ain't going anywhere this season end of in my opinion and anyone worrying will realise it was wasted energy come the end of the transfer window.

Lloris is a different story and hangs in the balance, If de gea goes and they want Lloris then he is gone in my opinion.

i think we will buy no one, if there was any time for Mr levy to pull a rabbit from a hat its now .

there is a lot at stake, top four new stadium . naming rights . publicity and revenues .

without top four moving into new stadium minus kane alli aldervillield, sanchez will not be so appealing .

Now is the time to speculate on a decent striker and attacking midfielder and cement our futre at the top .

this is the most important month in spurs history for a long time because it could become catastrophic at the end of the season with so much at stake

if the team is dismantled and sold because Mr Levy dilled and dallied and did not strengthen at a critical time.

if kane gets crocked its over . my opinion, but we need a quality striker and winger/ attacking midfielder .

we need a spark mahrez / Zaha, striker i'm lost there .

Spurs need to act, fear it will be same old its sad because were so close.

no top four mass exodus.

1.) 10 Jan 2018 21:45:20
Brilliant post bobby, buy a 50 million winger and striker and buy finishing in the top 4 you've got your money back big time, things are going ok for us at the moment but we are only a Harry Kane injury away for the season to go Pete tong.

2.) 12 Jan 2018 18:39:08
Not causing trouble but asking genuinely as fans do you see yourself in top 4 as things stand or do you think a mahrez type signing would be needed to achieve it? I still think we’ll finish second (obviously biased but still) , you have a good side but what would you say is missing to ensure you top 4?

3.) 12 Jan 2018 21:53:49
Injuries and then having to move players about cost us in November, ironically after we thrashed Liverpool. Yes we need a Mahrez type player but i'm confident we will finish above Liverpool.

4.) 13 Jan 2018 18:23:45
Ellis I fancy Liverpool to finish second as they are better than Utd and Chelsea imo. The top 4 will be city, Liverpool, Utd, Chelsea in that order.

5.) 13 Jan 2018 18:38:15
Most teams, bar city need luck with injuries but I don’t expect much business from anyone really in January everybody seems quite quiet a lot of rumours etc but no real effort it seems. Even without any major transfers I think the battle for top 4 is far from over.

01 Oct 2017 08:05:32
Goonerbod, I would worry about your team mate, if we make top four which looks very likely and then move into our new stadium and are in champions league, money will not be an issue for likes of Kane and others .

Your just like your manager stale and same old, very predictable like a 13 year old .

1.) 01 Oct 2017 09:04:11
here here bobbybox.

2.) 01 Oct 2017 13:49:19
If's! LMAO πŸ˜‚, so you think when you move into the new stadium and if you're in the champions league all of a sudden you will have more money than you do now? How? You do realise that when you move into the new stadium that doesn't mean you have already paid for it don't you! Clearly you don't! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

16 Sep 2017 10:42:22
Just a querry about our state of the art stadium does anyone know if, that in the construction of the new stadium thier is also room for further increases in capacity .

So at a later date capacity can be increased (ie) another tier without large scale construction disruption .

I'm sure Mr levy has thought of this but does anyone actually know if this is possible . Ie planning knowledge. cheers bobby.

02 Sep 2017 05:25:04
Gunnerbod is deluded, wenger set new standards with fitness and professionalism changed players mentality had success, while other teams and players changed their culture of nights out kebabs and ten pints .

His methods were unique but are standard practice now for all teams, the playing field is level now .

It's not Arsenal that has lost it, it's that other teams have got better fitter more tactical canier the standard of coaching has moved forward as it did with wenger but he has now got left behind, and has nothing more to give . He's past his sell by date .

Arsenal is like a boil it's bubbling up with poison and irritating it will burst and take time to heal .

Great men know when to walk fools hang on i.

1.) 02 Sep 2017 14:40:07
Bobbybox, how does that make me deluded then? When have I stated the opposite to that post? Are you joining the raver and Ellis club of making things up? LMAO.

2.) 02 Sep 2017 15:50:00
Bobbybox is deluded, spurs won't sign messi and Ronaldo in January or win the quadruple this year!

3.) 02 Sep 2017 23:08:53
Arsenal are in a mess, the dressing room is going to be toxic, Sanchez thought he was a city player and anyone thinking he is going to be committed 100% is deluded . That was my point

The gooners are in meltdown a relative of mine whos a gooner and itk, says their is an internal war festering within the boardroom,

Kronke camp Usmanoff camp . A power struggle .

It's fun for us spurs fans watching you self destruct the only one who seems to care is ian wright nice bloke shame he's a gooner.

4.) 02 Sep 2017 23:15:25
We don't have to sign messi ronaldo, we have got Harry king kane of the Lane, deli Ali , erickson aldervield, vertoghen,

5.) 03 Sep 2017 10:38:38
Bobbybox box you clearly are worried about Arsenal otherwise their would be no reason to post about them! Lmao I come on here to keep you lot grounded.

30 Aug 2017 20:30:06
We need a striker, and skilful powerful midfielder cover for Erickson and also a striker .

Will we get the real deal players and a surprise or average players and disappointment or nothing and total disappointment .

Hope we have something to be happy about tomorrow.,

1.) 31 Aug 2017 02:27:07
Liverpool fan here!
To be fair to you lot you've not done bad in the transfer market considering you're building a new stadium and everybody predicted you'd do nothing, you're in an unusual position were you're starting 11 works so well together it's hard to actually improve but o think you's have done well this window.

2.) 31 Aug 2017 09:46:10
Who is Β£40m Davison Sanchez going to replace in your defence?

3.) 31 Aug 2017 10:12:07
Oddknob, you need to worry on who is going to replace Sanchez, the Ox and Mustafi? 😁.

4.) 31 Aug 2017 10:42:23
Oddbod, You're suck a strange person. Why are you so worried about our team. Weirdo. You should be more worried about your team.

5.) 31 Aug 2017 16:51:37
That's my point, drthfc you're all raving about Sanchez but can't answer the question, typical spurs fans getting excited over the slightest thing πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

6.) 31 Aug 2017 17:15:29
Go away you child. You make no points at all you wally. We will play 3 at the back. There you go.

I liked him also, was excellent on first spell covering for aldervield, think it was a mental thing with him always seemed on edge nervous .

Talking of nervous and on edge wonder how goonerbod is,

Said it last year, that mopo would get frustrated and finally leave, he is not been backed all transfers should be done dusted by now .

It's going to be interesting now starting to think thier maybe significant departures not incomings, Mr levy could sell the family silverware alli Kane dire, make two hundred million, your telling me he ain't thinking that way .

Manager leaves gets another cycle begins again .

A worried yid.

Agree with northern spur we have all been here before and been mugged raced around the closed humber bridge to get in front of the box, to watch the mighty spurs buy a much needed striker and guess what at 10.55 I will regret staying up and be annoyed I believed in the hype . Then Harry Kane will get injured and the normal spurs luck will come in to play, and what could of been will become disappointment and it will be well spurs should of signed a striker sound familiar sky that desperate for transfers there in the endsliegh league its that exciting . come on you spurs.

Bold statement , can't see spurs paying Β£25 million MR Levy is normally in charge not the media . Man city late deal spurs would have done it by now if he was there no1 , I think we will either get Austin or someone off the radar

Mentioned the everton lad tosun would of been good at spurs, all the rest sturridge Hernandez finished .

Ineaccho at Leicester was looking good at city and faded young pacy,?

On todays showing Ferdinand was right we need a couple of magic players to be the real deal .

Goonerbod will go ballistic seeing this, according to him every player is 1% percent committed to the Arsenal cause, so sorry missed out two zeros. Ozil and Sanchez .

They think it's all over, it is now may well be the headlines on Sunday .
