In peace from the United page. My boss is a massive Spurs fan, season ticket, home and away etc and after having a chat about transfers, he genuinely believes you don't need anyone to build upon last few seasons? I thought it was rubbish as I always believe you improve your squad when your strong and wondered what the poster here thought? So, who do you guys realistically see yourselves buying to improve you? I believe a cb to strengthen you and a cf to support Kane? I think Erikson is criminally underrated outside of Spurs and the fact no one has come in for him baffles me. So yeah, just wondered how happy you are 3 weeks into the window and how you think your season will go?

I would happily take Dier but no where near the prices being talked about. i'd probably go up to 40 mill on him with the market as it is. Good player, not worth the money in my opinion.

James, although they are not the bible there is a site called CIES who do a lot of football analytics and are easily the most accurate and respected. They take literally everything into consideration when evaluating players fees. Almost every transfer thus far this summer they have been more or less spot on.

They have evaluated Dier at 85m! Make of that what you want but check out the other valuations and you will see how accurate they have been. CIES 100 most valuable players on Google and click on first search that comes up.

James I've got a sneaky feeling we will do something special this season, the squad is getting better and stronger each passing season and all the players have a special bond together with pochetinho. I thought we were the best footballing side in the league last season and was very unlucky not to win it. Unbeaten at home, scored most goals best defence and we had the golden boot winner.

Squad getting stronger? You do realise you have sold a player and not brought one in don't you. Hardly stronger is it, the squad has got weaker!
