I know this may be a disagreeable opinion for many of you out there; but I for one am actually quite pleased with the business done this window.

We made some good sales, the obvious one being the quite ridiculous £12 mil for Townsend and will have Pritchard getting premier league experience after his injury.

My view is that Poch is confident in this squad being able to hit top 4, so being confident in the quality of our potential back up players for Kane such as Chadli, Son and Clinton. I for one agree with him.

Lets back this squad and watch as we instead invest heavily in the summer; attracting the better quality of player we are only open to deal with after achieving a top 4 finish.

Poshspur, I don't agree on the back up striker situation but I too am very pleased with the season so far .
As for heavily investing in the summer, not a chance! Don't forget we will have a new ground to pay for .

I agree a young striker like Dembele would have been great and make sense. But with the lack of top quality strikers available in January it would have been silly too blow big money especially with them having to play second fiddle to Kane.

Personally think even with the stadium we will spend in summer. Levy knows his business and will spend the profits made since Poch has come in and support his manager if we get top 4.

Im not talking crazy spending like after the Bale saga, but would expect a top quality striker and DM with spending above 50mil in total; but only if mitchell and Poch think they are worth.

We have a great system at the club at the moment and our time of consistency at the top level is coming. COYS!

Don't think we need a DM, Dier will be one of the best . But God do we need another striker!

I agree that Dier will be a top class DM, though I would like to see someone with experience in this position to come in and be a help to such a player.

An experienced striker and DM coming in would result in the perfect blend of youth and experience in every positional sense which is what I feel Poch is clearly going for.
