Well, with the transfer window closed. until January at least, I don't think upon a lot of reflection it was that bad, yes we still need players especially a CF and CDM, but if you look at our squad its not all bad.

Prem XI

Lloris,
Trippier, Vertonghen, Toby, Rose
Bentaleb/Alli Dier
Son Eriksen Njie
Kane.


Europa & Domestic Cups XI

Vorm
Walker, Fazio, Wimmer, Davies
Dembele, Mason/Alli
Townsend, Pricthard, Lamela
Chadli.

This still leaves Carroll, Alli (to an extent), Onomah and Winks.

So its not to bad as long as we stay fortunate with injury and suspension it will be as dark as I first thought.

Interesting take.

Cant say I agree with the omission of Chadli in the premier league, nor bentaleb being involved at all.

Food for thought though.

Bentaleb is involved in the prem XI, next to Dier, I would rotate him with Alli. So he stays fit and Alli gets game time to imporve.

Whilst I like chadli I just feel that Njie and Son would offer more to the team, but perhaps playing chadli and rotating with Njie might be an option!.
