first job for mo po is to get rid of our defence and strikers surely dawson can't spend another year at spurs only keep walker and vertonghen I would like to bring in lescott rackatic from seville and gerviniho from roma who looks a diffrent player from his arsenal days

Certainly agree there Spuski, I would rather have Ferdinand than Lescott, and Gerviniho, if he couldn't make it under the professor, then sorry he won't make it here! Let Utd waste their 16 mill on him .

I would prefer we went for Shawcross and Subotic in the centre would love coleman at right back walker is a bit of a liability, then a good LB though not sure who. I wouldn't mind Micah Richards Down the lane either along with Rodwell. Get a bit of English back in the side.

What we've got to realise is there won't be a major overhaul of the squad, especially after what we spent last summer, there will probably be only 2 or 3 signings, not a completely new back 4

Rebuilding the back line will dead on who is left. LB needs to be addressed, Dawson moved on, Kaboul how sturdy is he after the injury, Vlad?, Verts let's see if he still wants to stay after the World Cup. So we likely need 2 CB's. And finally cover/competition for Walker.

That's a lot of turn over at the back, not to mention a probable new keeper.

I can't see it all happening in one window, but mopo has inherited a broken defense and will time to restructure/rebuild it.

I agree welshbale, it's quite the conundrum how AVB had them playing so tight. But I think once other teams realized the weakness on the left and started to attack us with pace through the middle aswell we were found wanting and exposed even against lower level teams.
