The FIFA World Cup begins on the 14th of June.
During this period I won’t have a lot of time for you. It’s not that I’m cheating or no longer wish to be with you, but I will have to make ever effort to watch every single match.
I will not be attending any social events such as, weddings, funerals, parties etc. during this period so please *DO NOT ASK! . *
I know you see it as only 22 men chasing a ball but it’s absolutely important that you keep such thoughts to yourself and do not express them during this period.
Here are a few guidelines (I won’t call them rules although you know they are) to ensure a smooth and argument free month:
1. Don’t say it’s just a game because it’s not!
2. please limit or avoid walking during matches
3. The remote control remains with me all the time
4. You support the team I support. Not the team that has guys you think are cute
5. Kindly place your phone on silent
6. *Never, ever walk in front of the TV while am watching a match! *
7. World Cup is played by countries only so please don’t ask me which team is Arsenal
8. Finally, highlights are considered important as matches, and they are just as important as the match itself, so yes I must watch the highlights as well!

Ellis total agree about Sane. I’ve been reading it’s not football related. He may have said something out of turn.
Spain and Germany have got to be there or there abouts.
I always back against England not saying their going to win it. But I feel this squad doesn’t have any player that’s a dead cert in their position which could be great. Long gone of the days when the papers pick the team like in the past with so called big teams players was a given. Lampard, Gerrard, etc I’ve been quite impressed by Southgate. Having said that. We’ll probably been on the plane home after 3 games.
Raver the Argies always under performed. Belgium will be brought down to earth. Hazard goes missing in big games.

Ellis the good thing for England this year that the squad are going under the radar, I remember 1990 when the whole country put pressure on Gazza and then the same thing on David Beckham over the later years. This time there is no mega superstar and England are definitely dark horses.

If England don't bottle it then they could do well. There aren't many teams we should fear but also tbere aren't many easy games either.
Argentina were lucky to even qualify, they have no chance imo. Im going to slap a bullseye on England at the bookies tomorrow, puts a little excitement into it then.
