Now I don’t want to kick you when you are down but given that Poch thinks only the EPl and Champions League matter it looks like all your eggs are now in one basket.

Given the strong form of the rest of us and your epic fall, what happens if you finish 5th? Will Harry be happy in the Europe League, will Dele Ali seek out the big bucks? Things can turn around quickly and I had you down challenging for second at the start of the season so who knows how things will turn out but holding onto your players will become more difficult if you go backwards.

I like Poch and there was a bit of a love in on our page for him recently but he hasn’t won anything yet and still has it all to prove. I think the next month will show what he is made of.

Fair play AJH, I'm sure people will dig you out (like dags, who they shouldn't dig, him and gunner62 look for some banter and give at least some constructive criticism) about posting here. You're correct, I think (hope) we will turn this around. We have the players to do so, but if we miss a few players we are bang in trouble.

Without Dier or Wanyama to protect the back 3/ 5 we look bang in trouble. Hopefully the manager can see this and maybe put a back 4 in place with Dier protecting and maybe we will look a little more stable and more potent in attack

At present, things look rosy in Le Arse and UTD gardens (in terms of results at UTD, not always performance) . But this weekend is sure to at least weaken one of you if not both.

AJH, it's the 1st December, not April.

and whilst your in the subject, as a Man U fan, arenyou really impressed with the style of football you've played since Fergus left? honestly?

I think your team has lost its identity.

NES, no I’m not happy but there are signs that after the dark days of Moyes and LVG we are starting to see a team forming. Sadly Jose will always be pragmatic and I was one who didn’t want him but he’s here now so hey ho. Performances have Ben patchy but only a city have scored more (including 4 goals in 6 League games) and nobody has conceded less so we are doing something right.

I think a couple more signings and Jose will have the team he wants. It’s an interesting point though which we have debated on our page, particularly about Spurs, great football but no trophies yet, the same was said about Arsenal for many years. I think you can have both and I don’t think United fans will accept boring 1-0 wins.

We have Arsenal and City next so I guess we’ll see what Jose is made of.

Lose a few games and all the experts come out about keeping our players blah blah blah.

We’ve had a blip, review the history of football all teams have them during the course of the season, with a few exceptions. We’ll bounce back, I think we can safely say we have missed Toby.

We need to start games at a high tempo and keep it going, we’ve looked slow over the last few games. I’m not going to blame the manager because players need to perform, some players get a little cocky and above themselves I’m seeing a few in our team, I said it last season let’s review Deli Ali next season, personally I don’t think he’s half as good as people say.

Be interesting to see the line up today. Maybe time to drop a few players who’ve been under performing of late.

not like the good old Fergie football days though is it AJH? like I say, your lot seem to have lost their identity. but Jose is all about winning, not how, but winning.

We are nowhere near the old Man U teams under Fergie, only City are probably the current team near to he Beckham team, but in terms of transition for the ammounts of money we have had and have to spend on players and salaries, we have definitely moved forward, quite a leap. some of our fans seem to forget that far too easily and appear to demand instant reward.

There's too many fans that expect their team to be winning everything, look at the majority gooners now who think they are a massive club, want Wenger out (who has been collosal for them) and retort the same old 'what have you won'.

Man United have been the most successful English team over the last 20 years FACT. no other english team comes near.

There is the odd numpty (we all know who they are) rival fan that are so consumed in rivalry hate that they loose sight that this game we all love is just that, a game. some people unfortunately just don't have the minerals to comprehend that.

You AJH, do appear to be not of that ort and I'd welcome your comments, rivalry and banter anytime. just like me old mucker Dags.

now he is looking his marbles 😉 👍.
