Hey Ed! Any update on Spurs transfers?

Thanks!

{Ed002's Note - Moura should go ahead if the payment schedule can be agreed with PSG and there are no hiccups over personal terms.}

Thank You Ed! Did Spurs go for Moura over Malcom?
Also what is your impression of Moura as a player and a person?
Thank You.

{Ed002's Note - Moura is high risk and expensive given he is out of favour and would not be guaranteed a start at many higher-placed English sides given he can't get near the starting 11 at PSG. I don't know how many minutes Moura has played this season but it won't be much - he is rarely in the squad and when he is he is generally an unused substitute. Interest in taking him on loan elsewhere has gone nowhere as the player has high expectations. His abilities are limited to being able to run along a straight line quickly. It makes about zero sense to me.}

Thanks Ed! I suspect I read your views on some other site as was hoping we'd turn our attention elsewhere, but alas.

ED - A very harsh assessment for Moura. He was sensational before PSG signed Neymar, Draxler and Di Maria. He has been pushed down the pecking order and not been given a chance. He is stil only 25 and has been sidestepped for a year. He can pass, dribble and cross and has good speed, vision and technical ability. He will be sensational at Spurs and will look like a bargain at €25m in a few months time.

Spurs are short of players and need Lucas Moura, Malcom and Sessegnon to be quite blunt! Time to invest a few quid after years of saving, and give ourselves a chance in the FA Cup, Champions League and Top 4. With three additional players the fixture list will see us miss out on all three.

{Ed002's Note - I assume you are not aware that Lucas and Malcom play in the same position?

I also assume you aren't aware of the difficulties Lucas caused and the efforts made to get him back to Brazil?

There is a reason he cannot get a start at PSG.}

what I’ve seen of him, he’s better than what we have. I’ve never rated Lamela, Sissoko has always been average. Both of which lack pace, that’s what we’re crying out for.

Of course I know he plays RAM like Malcom, but he has also played across the line at LAM and even CAM just like Eriksen, Dele Alli and Malcom.
