Message to Daniel levy I will not buy a season ticket again while you are running the club, I've also for the first time have not bought any new merchandise as the club show zero ambition. why should I spend my Stringfellows cash to please you. I can guarantee you if spurs have a poor start to the season the fans are going to turn very toxic towards levy due to his failure this summer yet again.

I agree 100%
I think the pay structure has to change, when players can go to stoke, palace, Leicester and get paid more.
I don't think signing just Barkley is enough to keep the fans happy, we need a big signing.
This transfer crap with Barkley is not new levy done it with Clinton njie and Kevin ndoukou. Levy playing games are going to make us lookk like idiots and never getting our first target and ending up with people like sissoko, fazio,
I don't think the Spurs fans will have it any longer.

The same raver who was bragging you have the best young squad in the league and will win it this year, what a surprise lmao 😂.

You have, arguably, the best starting 11 in the prem and have kept all of your players, including Lloris, Toby, Alli and Kane, and you are giving up your season ticket.

Shame on you Raver.

Dagenham Gunner. Totally agree. We have a fantastic starting 11 and pretty confident that we will keep most. A bit of positivity - most teams have disgruntled players - ours have been highlighted more than others, but it will blow over when the press have had their fill!

Totally agree with you Dags. That's so sad Raver. Spurs are your team. Sort it out. I'm guessing you'd have been one of unfortunately many "supporters" destroying Danny Rose when he came back from Sunderland and wasn't yet attracting attention from other clubs. Who needs enemies when you got fans like these?

We have a fantastic first 11 and then we have one of the worst subs benches in the league, you don't win things by having a good 11 you win things with a full squad. As for not being a real fan I've followed spurs through many relegation scraps and i could handle that but now we have the tools to do something special and our owners are not interested.

The things being said about Tottenham in the press are nothing short of disgraceful. I personally can see that we might be not far off one of the top teams in Europe taking legal action against the press. The way they are making up lies is beyond belief.
All the usual suspects at play as well. Daily Mail, The Sun, etc etc. They should be having a go at the clubs that spend all this money on wages like there no tomorrow and because we dare to do things differently we get slaughtered for it. Again! The stance of many armchair supporters against Levy is a fiasco as well.
Do you all not see the stadium he's building us? Or are you all blind? Hey this might all backfire horribly and then everyone can say well we told ya so but I happen to totally agree with Levy's wage structure. The game has gone mad with money and paying people in excess of £200,000 a week at any level needs to stop immediately. It's disgusting, obscene and the majority just ain't worth it. Tottenham have invaded the media's sacred and holy top 4 love in and they simply despise us.
We highlighted everyone's flaws and showed many up. We came runners up in a blaze of glory frustratingly short of the prize yet clearly playing the best football in the land. Now it's time for them to try and unsettle us in the build up to opening day and slag us off for not following what they perceive as normal. I don't give a **** what anyone says Levy isn't stupid, he isn't a person (like many say on here) and he isn't going to be held to ransom by the media or injured players.
I urge everyone to get behind the lads at Newcastle, sing them onto victory, stick 2 fingers up at the press and the Jason Cundy's of this world and remain positive. COYS.

Totally agree Dan.
The only issue being that "if" media are to be believed West Ham etc are paying 120-140K a week and the market dictates. We can't be one of the lowest payers. I would prefer to see more emphasis put on performance related bonuses. The teams done fantastic since porch, I don't think he wants di Maria's of this world, I think he prefers young hungry lads who listen and are willing to learn and work their socks off to get to the top. you could visibly see Harry Winks grow last year as did Kane, given enough game time. Think walker was always going and whilst I loved him and his positional play improved under poch, his pace got him out of trouble more often than not, that won't last. his final product was more often than not lacking. for the amount of time he spends in the box simply not enough goals. Trip needs to improve or be replaced.
we need some additional players but got Rose, Lamela, Winks, Son Wimmer, Carter V, WP, N'Kou on bench couple more exciting youngsters and I'm happy. Let's get behind them and forget the rest. COYS.

Good posts Dan and David. I would disagree on Trippier though i thought he was excellent last season. Dan, the new stadium will allow us to pay more wages, for those players that merit it and not just throwing big money around at soo called big names.

Trip is quality going forward, bigger threat than Walker, but defensively he needs to improve but think Poch can sort that.

You said that but Trippier is better defensively than Walker, the difference being Walker relied on his pace to get him out of his many positional mistakes.

Ellis is a financial numpty so Dan believe Levy by all means but try not to be to dissapointed!

Geriatric yes but Acton No!
Like the vast majority of the Spurs fans who live in the real world l think your management will not splash the cash over the next few years and that includes paying competitive wages.
I am NOT saying you won't buy any new players but your club will be justifiably careful with the cash.
My club will undoubtedly go through the same process when we start building our new stadium.
I'm sure some of our fans will also be equally as frustrated as the majority of logical Spurs fans who post on this site.
