Hi Eds,

Is there any truth in the rumours that we are looking at Gareth Barry? I pray to god that we aren't! Just hoping you could shed some light on the situation.

{Ed008's Note - I dont think so at the club currently have about 9-10 centre-midfielders and only 3 positions to play for he was offered to Villa by City.

Thank god for that! I read somewhere us and the Arse were looking at him and I thought, with who we already have, he would be a major downgrade!

If AVB goes with 4-3-3 and the first choice is Paulinho, Dembele & Sandro, then who is covering if Livermore is tipped for a loan stint, Parker is off to QPR and Huddlestone to Sundetland.

Holtby is an option, but Sigurdson, Townsend and Dempsey are more suited to more attacking roles. Actually Barry would be a great signing if he was available for free. Cold night midweek to Stoke away, and players like him are worth every penny of their wages.
